How Octomark is sold
Octomark is a free app with an optional subscription. The subscription is sold only through Apple's App Store and Google Play. There are no sales on the website.
Complaints and dispute resolution
- Write to us first: support@octomark.app. Most problems are solved by email within a few days.
- Portugal's electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico): you can file a complaint at https://www.livroreclamacoes.pt/. We answer complaints filed there within 15 working days, as Portuguese law requires. [The seller registers on the platform before launch; the official logo and link go in the website footer.]
- Alternative dispute resolution for consumers (Law 144/2015 and Law 24/96, Article 14): in the event of a consumer dispute you may turn to one of the consumer arbitration centres listed by the Portuguese Directorate-General for Consumers at https://www.consumidor.gov.pt/. The national centre is CNIACC, Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (https://www.cniacc.pt/). Under Portuguese law, a consumer may choose to bring a dispute of reduced value, meaning up to the limit for first-instance courts (currently EUR 5,000), before such a centre, and the seller must then take part. [Regional centre for the seller's address to be added after stage 0.]
- The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
- Consumers in other countries keep the rights given to them by their own law and may contact their local consumer authority.
